About Us
One Vision Housing (OVH) is a Social Housing Provider that's determined to make a big difference in our communities.
We were formed in the autumn of 2006 to take over the ownership and management of Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council’s homes. We currently manage almost 11,700 properties across the borough of Sefton – which stretches along the Merseyside coast from Southport in the north, Bootle in the south, Crosby in the west, to Maghull in the east.
What kind of organisation is OVH?
One Vision Housing is a social housing provider that supplies affordable, good quality housing for people in housing need. We are a not-for-profit charitable organisation, registered with the Financial Services Authority (under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965) and regulated by both the Tenants Services Authority and the Homes and Communities Agency.
What work is OVH responsible for?
The main areas include:
- Property repairs and improvements
- Rent collection and income advice
- Property lettings
- General estate management.
Does OVH make profits?
One Vision Housing is a not-for-profit charitable organisation. Any surplus money is reinvested back into the organisation – improving homes and communities as well as providing quality services to tenants.
