How to become a supplier

We aim to provide high quality services that our customers want and are happy with at the best possible price.

We actively pursue efficiency savings so that we can channel savings into front line services for the benefits of our tenants and the neighbourhoods in which we operate. To achieve value for money for the customers and communities we serve, a range of methods are used to procure products and services.

A comprehensive Procurement Strategy for 2009 to 2011 was agreed by the Board in September 2009 that outlines our aims and objectives. It also provides a rigorous framework that both contractors and employees of One Vision Housing can follow to meet the needs of our customers and satisfies internal governance, national and European law.

Tendering Process

If you are interested in tendering for business, you may respond to one of the following:

Advertisements in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU)

This is where One Vision Housing contracts are above European Union Thresholds and are subject to EU rules and regulations. They will be advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). Details can be viewed on the Tenders Electronic Weekly website.

Advertisements in the local press or trade journal seeking tenders

OVH is happy to hear from existing and new suppliers who are interested in tendering for business. Please note we carry out credit references on all of our existing and potential suppliers. Poor credit references may mean that we decline your submission.

Supplier Questionnaire

All suppliers are required to complete a questionnaire so that an objective evaluation can be made in terms of their financial viability and corporate values.

Any relationship with the Association is required to be identified in order to ensure probity and compliance with the Housing Act 1996, part 1, schedule 1.

The information it contains will be held in confidence by One Vision Housing and its advisors and used for the purpose of determining your suitability to be included on our approved supplier list.
