Governance
One Vision Housing is governed by a board of non executive directors, comprising of 11 members. Board members have experience and expertise in a number of areas including – as a service user, social housing generally, finance, business and regeneration.
Five members of our board are tenants (one of these is a leaseholder), two are nominated by Sefton Council and four are independent. Board members are unpaid and generally elected for a term of three years, with each one serving a maximum of three terms (up to nine years in total).
The board meet regularly to make key decisions, help shape the direction of the association and monitor performance.
Each Board Member, before taking up their position, must sign an agreement to uphold the aims and values of the organisation and follow the highest possible standards of conduct and probity.
