| Professional status: | Betty worked for 18 years in the International Services branch of a major bank conglomerate and is now retired. A Sefton resident all her life, Betty bought her Council property in Litherland after 22 years as a tenant. | |

Ensuring leaseholders views and needs are represented and they receive equal and fair access to services. Betty uses her extensive experience as a tenant and leaseholder to bring a grass-roots point of view to all her decision-making. |

Margaret Hurst |

| Professional status: | Margaret has 25 years’ committee experience from her involvement in her local residents’ association and rose to the rank of Inspector during her 14 years of service as a Special Police Officer. Not only is Margaret a committed member of the Board but also acts as the Chair of the Business Assurance Committee looking at how any risks to OVH can be dealt with. | |

Not only does she bring her professional skills and knowledge to the Board but also has extensive experience working to improve communities and is a qualified youth worker who has established youth clubs and activities in rural areas. | |

Andrew Mitchell |

| Professional status: | Prior to retiring Andy was a Chief Inspector for the R.S.P.C.A which involved annual budget-setting and management. Andy has been a tenant since 2004 and was instrumental in setting up the Kings Park Resident Association as well as serving on other tenant groups in the area such as the Repairs Focus Group and the Business Planning Group. | |

Andy is strong advocate for people with disabilities and work tirelessly to ensure their needs are met. Andy also works with Aintree Hospital’s Patient Advice and Liaison Services.

Now retired, Joan is putting her professional experience and passion for the community to good use as an OVH Board Member. Having a wealth of experience in policy, performance management and target setting Joan uses these skills to ensure OVH has robust policies and procedures. | |
