High Level Involvement

This involves the most time but provides the highest level of influence.

Board Membership - (Several hours per month)

Board members make big decisions about how OVH is run. Of the 11 board positions, five are customers and new applications are always welcome.

Customer Scrutiny and Review Panel (CS/RP) - (3 hours per month)

This panel is made up of 15 members who are mostly customers. The panel receive reports on how we are doing, and any new plans we may have. They also play an important role by contributing towards major decisions.

Tenant Inspectors - (less than 3 hour per month)

Inspectors are customers who can be called in to inspect and review any area of the business that might need looking at and make recommendations on how to improve it.

Service Review Groups (SRG) - (3 hours every 2 months)

Service Review Groups – or ‘SRG’s’ look in detail at particular areas of our business e.g. Home Management or Neighbourhoods. They will help us shape, influence and improve the services we deliver.

Each SRG has a group of approx 10-12 people who meet every two months to talk about different areas of our service.

There are seven SRG’s in total and a representative of each also has the opportunity to sit on our Customer Scrutiny and Review Group.
