Meet the team
The Resident Involvement Team is made up of three people:

Ann Owens – Resident Involvement Manager
Ann has been with OVH since transfer in 2006. Before that she worked for Sefton MBC within the Homeless and Neighbourhood teams before embarking on a career in what was then known as ‘Tenant Participation’. Ann has since become the Manager of the now named ‘Resident Involvement Team’ and brings a wealth of housing knowledge and experience to the role.
It is Ann’s job to deliver the Resident Involvement Strategy and embed Resident Involvement throughout OVH and all the services it delivers with support from her team and as many as the 20,000 residents who wish to be involved.
Melissa Conlan and Tracy Newman – Resident Involvement Officers
Melissa has been with the RI team since 1st July 2008. Her former role was working for the Investment Team handling complaints and queries for the Decent Homes Team. Prior to this Melissa spent several years working in the private sector for building contractors working within the social housing sector.
Tracy joined the team in August 2010 having previously worked in the Customer Service Centre at OVH.
It is the job of the Resident Involvement Officer to assist Ann with the delivery of all tasks including managing Tenants and Residents Associations across the borough, delivering the Training Strategy and helping the organisation achieve TPAS Accreditation.
