Compliments and suggestions can really make a difference as they let us know when we are doing things right or how you think we can improve our services.

We always welcome your thanks, but in addition, this gives us the opportunity to identify good ways of working and to ensure that this is shared across the organisation.

Your suggestions are also a great help. They can provide us with valuable ideas about how we can improve our services from your point of view.

If you make a suggestion and it is put into practice you’ll even get a £20 gift voucher for your trouble.

Examples

At our South Neighbourhood office, a tenant told us that they were having difficulty contacting the Customer Liaison Officer for our repairs contractor, Connaught. As a result, we arranged with Connaught to hold a surgery at the office on a Wednesday morning.

We were also told that there were issues with some youths acting in an anti social way in an area of Bootle and that extra patrol in the area might be a way of stopping it. As a result we arranged with local Police Community Support Officers and youth engagement workers to do some work in that area.
