The key to our vision is to get the basics right, therefore we understand our responsibilities to our customers being with providing homes of quality.
In just over two and a half years we’ve hit a major milestone by bringing 94% of our homes up to the Government’s Decent Homes Standard as of December 2009 in time for the 2010 deadline as promised. This is up from 67% in 07/08.
In the period 1st April 08 – 31st March 09 we invested £55.2m in improving the condition of our homes and brought 1643 properties up to the Decent Homes Standard.
The £200 million programme has seen over £1 million per week invested in homes across Sefton, making a huge difference to the lives of our customers and providing much needed employment and job opportunities in the area.
