Decoration Allowance
To meet our Lettable Standard for empty homes we promise that all properties will be in reasonable decorative order and walls and surfaces are able to be decorated.
In Supported Housing schemes for the elderly and supported tenancies for vulnerable tenants we will:
- Decorate two rooms if decorations are needed – usually the kitchen and one other room
- If the property is of very poor standard throughout we will decorate all rooms.
For all other properties we will give you decoration vouchers for a DIY store of £50, £100 or £150 depending on the decorative order and location of the property.
If the property is in very poor decorative order we will give ‘one coat’ decoration to all rooms.
