For some people the benefit system can appear complex and confusing. To help resolve these difficulties One Vision Housing offer a comprehensive and free welfare benefits advice service.
Each advisor in the team has a high level of experience in all aspects of welfare rights and can provide representation at appeals tribunals. The team can provide advice on any type of benefits including tax credits and social fund applications.
Advice and assistance can also be given on any benefit overpayment issues.
The Welfare Rights Team has developed expertise in helping residents resolve problems with rent arrears, including Housing Benefit backdating requests and appeals.
