Fencing

At One Vision Housing we have a responsibility to ensure all fences owned and installed by us are secure and in good reasonable order.

That is why we have developed a ‘divisional fencing policy’ that outlines what we will do for our customers if they come into disrepair and also our legal obligations in relation to the maintenance of divisional fencing.

In summary this policy promises:

  • One Vision Housing will fulfill all its legal obligations in relation to the maintenance of divisional fencing wholly owned by ourselves
  • Unless the fencing is unsafe, repairs and maintenance to existing divisional fencing is classified as non–urgent and will be repaired within the timescales set as part of our service standards. Please refer to our repairs leaflet for more details.
  • Where divisional fencing is part or wholly owned by an adjoining owner other than One Vision Housing we will use all reasonable endeavours to seek financial contribution.

If you have any queries relating to this policy or are unsure about who is responsible for your fencing please call 0300 365 1111 and ask to speak to a member of our Asset Management Team.
