All singing, all dancing?
After lengthy discussions, we decided that we wanted to built an all singing, all dancing website that would be as easy to access and navigate as possible.
The bad news is the website can’t dance or indeed sing.
The good news? It can talk!
ROKTalk is a programme that converts written text on websites into real-time, life-like speech. It has been designed to help anyone who finds using the Internet a difficult experience. For a large number of users, ROKTalk includes features that have been created specifically to help you get around the site. As well as the ‘read aloud’ function, it is also possible to make text larger.
You can find the ROKTalk logo in the top left hand corner of the screen. From there, it’s just a case of clicking ‘SHOW’. Have a go using it. If it’s not for you, you can always click ‘HIDE’ and navigate the website in the usual way.
