Health and Safety update
We have achieved an internationally recognised health and safety accreditation.
The OHSAS 18001 certificate promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that allows the organisation to consistently identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance.
More than this, there are very few housing associations, particularly in the North West, that have achieved this – another great example of the excellence we are striving for in every single area of the business.
One Vision Housing HR Director Colin Gibson said: “Achieving the OHSAS 18001 certification is the official recognition of our commitment to maintain our health and safety performance and benefits both our staff and our customers.
“OHSAS (Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series) 18001 is the only internationally recognised management system specification for the management of health and safety at work.
“The standard demonstrates our absolute commitment to safety and to achieving the highest levels of performance in health and safety management across the organisation”
