Connaught update
You may have heard the recent news regarding our contractor Connaught.
On Wednesday 8 September 2010, it was confirmed that Connaught PLC and Connaught Partnerships Ltd had been placed in administration.
Audit firm KPMG have been formally appointed as administrator.
What does this mean for residents?
The administrator (KPMG) will attempt to find an alternative contractor who will take over from Connaught. Our principal concern is to continue providing services as normal.
We are working hard to resolve the situation as soon as possible and ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum.
Although the transitional period will cause delays to improvement works, our repairs service will continue to run as normal.
Contingency arrangements are in place with other service providers for the short term.
We have met, and negotiations continue with, contractors including Kier, Integral, Enterprise, ROK and Wates. We have not yet made any decisions about future service provision.
One Vision Housing is not in any financial difficulty. All Decent Homes Standard improvements will be completed as promised. There will, however, be some delays and we ask for your patience and support during this time.
Your Customer Relationship Manager will contact you in the near future if they need to rearrange any dates for your improvement works.
We apologise for any inconvenience. If you would like any further information or advice please call us on 0300 365 1111.
