Toast to new homes
The regeneration of Bootle was toasted in a special event at the site of Greenfields Place, – the subject of a £35m investment by One Vision Housing.
The ‘topping out’ ceremony saw the last beam being placed at the top of Chesnut House, one of four high rise blocks being rejuvenated, creating premier living spaces in the Marsh Lane area of Bootle.
Local councillors and Board Members were amongst the attendees and in a symbolic gesture; they all signed the last beam to be placed in the block. They were then shown around a flat near to completion on the 12th floor, complete with stunning views over Bootle and the River Mersey.
The event was designed to celebrate progress so far and thank the Board and local councillors for their support of the project.
Kier started work on Greenfields in January 2009 and the first flats are due to be released in early Summer this year. For more information, please contact the One Vision Housing Marketing Team on 0300 365 1111.
