Kickin’ it
Young people and the police playing football together?! That was the seemingly impossible scenario presented in Litherland recently when the local community slipped on their boots to take part in a football tournament.
The Community Development Team organised the day in conjunction with Merseyside Police who reached the final, only to be beaten by a team of One Vision Housing young tenants.
The afternoon was held at Goals football venue and was well attended by over 50 young people and adults.
Thank you Tesco and ASDA who supported us by supplying snacks and fruit, and congratulations to the winners – One Vision Housing young tenants!
