Residents rally for charity
One Vision Housing residents in Oxford House did their bit for charity recently, raising an amazing £1016.40 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The ladies (and men) down there, are forever rallying together for charity and they even managed to better last year’s total raised by over £200.
Residents in Formby raised over £400 for charity, taking part in Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’.
Over 60 residents came together to take part in a charity raffle, cake sale and ‘name the bear’ competition. One Vision Housing staff were also on hand to talk to residents about any neighbourhood issues and offer advice on everything from money handling to home contents insurance.
Thank you to everybody who attended and helped to raise a fantastic £420.23, especially to those who donated cakes, books and raffle prizes.
