Cheque mate!
We told you recently about our amazing fundraising staff and residents who raised nearly £1500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This week, we presented the cheque to Macmillan's Fundraising Manager in Merseyside, Judith Stewart.
She said: “The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at One Vision Housing was a fantastic success. I would like to thank everyone who took part.
“We rely almost entirely on donations, and without all the hard work from our coffee morning hosts and goodwill from those who go along to their events, we wouldn’t be able to keep offering the fantastic services that so many people rely on.
The money raised will be used to fund Macmillan’s vital cancer services including specialist nurses, a nurse-run support line and financial advice and support for cancer patients."
