Van-tastic!
The first two winners of our ‘name the van’ competition have been announced, meaning that they win the greatest imaginable prize... their name on one of our white vans!
Stevie Thomas, 8 from Maghull and Joanne Lee, 16, from Bootle were recognised for their commitment to making a difference in their community.
Stevie received numerous nominations from friends, parents and school staff and regularly fundraises for Zoe’s Place Hospice and Alder Hey Hospital.
Joanne Lee was recognised for her outstanding voluntary work including being an active voluntary member of the Making A Difference (MAD) Group for three years, making sure that young people who have experience of the care system are involved in the decisions that will affect their lives.
Thoughout 2012, One Vision will be picking out winners every month whose names will feature on the front of one of their vans.
