One Vision Housing has launched a brand new Customer Service Centre which will be able to handle all calls for the organisation via one new number - 0845-140- 1234.
To help customers remember the new number One Vision Housing has sent out over 12,000 plastic cards with all its contact details to its customers to ensure thay can keep it handy in their purse or wallet.
The new Customer Service Centre - based at Daniel House in Bootle will handle all calls for One Vision Housing directly, taking over from a partnering arrangement with Sefton Council, which had been in operation since November 2007.
It is hoped the new centre will cut calling waiting times and ensure callers' queries are answered more quickly and more easily than ever.
Customers are now able to report repairs, bid for properties, report instances of anti-social behaviour, request information, have access to benefits advice, and enquire about their rents and much, much more, via one easy to remember number.
Although the Service Centre and new number have been operational for some time it has worked alongside Sefton Plus and a series of different departmental phone numbers for One Vision Housing.
As of April 1st, 2008 none of these older numbers will remain operational and customers will only be able to contact One Vision housing by telephone via the new - 0845- 140- 1234 number.
Michelle Wood, One Vision Housing Director of Housing Management and Customer Services said: "The launch of our new Customer Service Centre will further improve our service provision for customers by providing a one source point of contact.
"Now if our customers want to contact us by phone they can be assured that their call will be dealt with in as quick and efficient a manner as possible."
