Facilities Management Contract Awarded to Connaught and Apollo – 19th August, 2008 (OJEU Ref. No: 08/S 25-32983/EN)
One Vision Housing, the major Sefton based landlord announce that the Connaught Partnership Ltd and Apollo Heating Ltd have secured a four year facilities management contract worth over £35 million covering over 11,200 homes.
Connaught Partnership Ltd www.connaught.plc.uk will be responsible for the delivery of routine repairs, empty property maintenance, planned and specialist maintenance. Apollo Heating Ltd www.apollo-heating.co.uk will deal with annual gas servicing and repairs to central heating.
Both companies were selected following a rigorous competitive two stage tender carried out under the strict “transparency” rules required by the European Union. The cost/quality split of the award was 60/40.
Both contractors are currently scheduled to start later on in the year. One Vision Housing is currently working with Integral UK Ltd www.integral.co.uk and its other existing repairs contractors to ensure a seamless transfer takes place.

One Vision Housing is committed to making the open spaces and communal areas within our estates cleaner, safer places to work, live and play in. In our continous drive to improve on our services to customers we now wish to establish and introduce an environmental hit squad.
We are looking to introduce this service with the assistance of an established contractor and are looking to base the arrangements on a social enterprise model. We are keen that the service not only delivers a quality service on the ground but will provide training and employment opportunities for residents from within our estates.

Environmental Improvements Contract Award - Update 7th July 2008 (OJEU Ref. No: 76672-2008))
One Vision Housing have received 33 pre-qualification questionnaires for the Environmental Improvements Programme. The list of bidders can be seen here.
The assessment and shortlisting have now started and the second stage tender list is scheduled to be announced during August 2008.
Please note this contract is NOT to be confused with the proposed 'environmental hit squad' which focuses on the removal of rubbish, graffiti and general provision of safe and clean neighbourhoods.

Facilities Management Contract Award - Update 7th July,2008 (OJEU Ref. No: 08/S 25-32983/EN)
The tender deadline for LOTS 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D has now passed and nine tenders have been submitted. One Vision Housing and consultants Gleeds are currently assessing all submissions.
One Vision Housing anticipate the completion of the due diligence process by the middle of July and the agreeing of the Best and Final Offer (BAFO) by the end of July 2008.
Update 31st July 2008
One Vision Housing has now provided all shortlisted contractors with the results of Facilities Management tender.
Following a 10 day 'stand off' period an official announcement will be made to our customers.

Digital Upgrade Contract Award - Update 7th July, 2008 ( OJEU Ref. No: 166253-2006)
Following a mini-competition from the Northern Housing Consortium's Framework agreement for Digital Switchover, two contractors - DAS and ABCA have been awarded the OVH Digital Switchover Contract.
