Customer Charter

One Vision Housing has developed a 'Customer Charter' in partnership with Connaught, Kier and members of the Tenant Advisory Panel to show our commitment to you. During the works if we haven't met our agreement in anyway please let us know as soon as possible so that we can take action to fix the problem.

Our partnership team will:

  • always show a photographic identity card and ask permission to enter your home
  • treat you and your home with respect
  • work in a safe way and ensure the safety of you and your family
  • provide you with a list of contacts for any queries or concerns
  • make, and keep appointments, making sure that we tell you about any changes as soon as possible
  • treat your information as confidential, making sure that your safety and privacy is a priority
  • provide a choice of fittings, where available, and give you a print out of the design you have chosen for your kitchen and bathroom if appropriate.
  • explain what we have come to do, approximately how long it will take and how this will affect you
  • make sure of equality and fairness by being sensitive to different cultural needs and the needs of vulnerable groups such as elderly people or people with disabilities
  • dress appropriately for the job we are doing
  • be courteous and sensitive at all times
  • use appropriate covers and screening in work areas and clean up at the end of each day
  • make sure your property is secure at all times
  • make sure all services are restored at the end of each working day
  • explain how to use your new appliances and who to contact if their are any problems after completion

To make sure you are completely satisfied with our service there are a number of things we will never do when working in your home.

These include:

  • NOT using your electricity, water, toilet or other facilities without your permission
  • NOT smoking in or around your home
  • NOT using radios in or around your home
  • NOT parking vehicles on your grass verges
