Neighbourhood Management Service Standards
- New tenants will be issued with a Sign Up Pack, including a Tenants' Handbook and a tenancy agreement, at sign up.
- Succession and assignment decisions will be made within 10 working days
- We will make a mutual exchange decision within 20 working days
- We will make Right to Buy decisions within 60 days working days
- Where anti-social behavior is reported, we will investigate and take the appropriate action within the following timescales:
Nuisance - five days
Harassment- 24 hours
Estate Management
We are committed to maintaining the appearance of our estates to a high standard and ensuring estates are safe and free from nuisance.
We will ensure:
- A dedicated housing officer will carry out estate patrols every two weeks
- Action plans will be drawn up to deal with any issues that arise
- Local tenants' and residents' groups will be invited to join housing officers on estate walkabouts every two months
- We will respond to reports of abandoned properties within 24 hours
- Empty properties will be made safe and secure.
You can help by:
- Keeping your estate and property tidy
- Telling us if areas of your estate fall below standard
- Reporting issues such as dumping litter, rubbish or abandoned vehicles to us quickly
- Reporting incidents of crime or vandalism on your estate.
Performance
- We will continously monitor performance, the quality of the service provided and publish performance figures quarterly.
