Investment Programme

By 2010 One Vision Housing will have invested over £200 million into its homes and neighbourhoods in the single largest investment in housing ever seen in Sefton.

As Sefton's largest social landlord we are committed to ensuring that all our housing stock has a long-term future and that we play a part in making sure the borough is a place where people choose to make their home.

To undertake the work we have appointed Connaught Partnership[s Ltd and Kier Building Maintenance North (KBM) due to their experience in the delivery of similar programmes nation wide. They will work from local offices and will work alongside One Vision Housing staff to deliver the Decent Homes work to your home.

To ensure that we deliver the important promises that we made at the time of transfer we have worked closely with groups of tenant representatives to establish the best way of deciding when and where the work is carried out.

Some homes scheduled for work under the Decent Homes programme may have already received response repair work or other improvements and are therefore subject to further survey.

This means that when we come to resurvey your home, in the year works are scheduled to be undertaken in your neighbourhood, some elements of your home may have been brought up to Decent homes Standard already. For example your home may have received a replacement kitchen or very significant repairs, within the last 5 years.

Your home may not therefore require the full extent of work we have included in our target programme, to meet the Decent Homes Standard. This will be discussed with you when your home is resurveyed.
